Honest communication
Practise sharing what is true with presence and care.
Couples coaching · A secondary pathway
A supportive space to slow down, listen more deeply, and explore how you want to relate—with openness, curiosity, and care for both people in the relationship.
Growing together
Sometimes you may feel misunderstood, disconnected, or caught in familiar patterns. At other times, you may simply want to strengthen the connection you already share.
Authentic Relating practices create room to notice what is happening between you and to meet one another with greater awareness and compassion.
What we might explore
Sessions follow what matters to you both; there is no universal script for a relationship.
Practise sharing what is true with presence and care.
Listen for each other’s experience beneath familiar reactions.
Slow down blame and become more aware of what is happening now.
Create conditions where both partners can speak, pause, and choose.
Strengthen the quality of attention you bring to one another.
Explore the relationship you want to keep creating together.
Chikawa’s approach
Chikawa’s role is to create a space where both partners are welcomed, respected, and able to express themselves honestly—not to decide who is right or wrong.
Together, you will gently explore ways of communicating, listening, and connecting that honour both individuals and the relationship you are creating.
Before beginning
No. Practices are introduced gently, and you can ask questions or pause at any point.
No. Couples may come with a challenge, a recurring pattern, or simply a wish to tend an already meaningful connection.
Begin with a conversation involving both partners so you can ask questions and decide together.
A shared first step
Bring your questions and your hopes for the relationship. You do not need a perfect plan.
