01 · Information you choose to share

Contacting The Exquisite Slow

If you contact Chikawa, you choose what personal information to include in that message. It is used to understand and respond to your enquiry. Contact-form notifications are sent through Brevo, which processes the submitted contact details and message for transactional email delivery. Brevo also delivers passwordless login emails to the site administrator.

Enquiry records are kept for up to 12 months after the last correspondence, then deleted unless they must be retained longer for a legal or safeguarding reason. You may ask for earlier deletion. Deleted records may remain in access- restricted backups for up to 30 further days before expiry.

Please share only what feels relevant and comfortable.

02 · External services

Scheduling, social links, and fonts

Links to Calendly and social platforms take you to services operated by other organisations. Their own privacy terms apply when you visit or use them.

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore sends Google the font request, IP address, requested URL, browser details, and referring page needed to provide the font files. Google Fonts does not set a cookie through this integration.

03 · Email updates

Notes from The Exquisite Slow

If you choose to join the mailing list, MailerLite processes your email address for The Exquisite Slow to send occasional reflections, gathering updates, and invitations. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

04 · Website information

Technology and your visit

Pages containing the contact or newsletter form use a short-lived, strictly necessary session cookie to protect the form against forged or repeated submissions. The cookie is also used for the passwordless administration area. It is not used for advertising or analytics.

Website hosting processes basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, requested page, device, browser, and access time.
